Members Discounts

Members enjoy a competitive retail price and have access to some rare and hard to find wines that are only available on allocations.

University House also offers members a free delivery service within 15km radius of the Parkville campus.

In-House Wine

University House prides itself on its extensive cellar and varied in-house and external events. The Club hosts masterclasses, tasting, special events and has an active wine club and community.

Have a glass while relaxing in our garden courtyard at Professors’ Walk, or on the 10th floor of Melbourne Law School. Our wine lists have received numerous awards and are included in the Australian Wine List Awards Hall of Fame.

In-House Wine to Suit any Palate

For the wine enthusiast we have tastings and events throughout the year. Our wine lists have received numerous awards and are included in the Australian Wine List Awards Hall of Fame. We have a cellar housing approximately 7500 bottles of around 500 different types of wine to satiate even the most discerning palate. We even offer free delivery if you live within 10km of the Parkville Campus, along with members specials on our wine lists.

Masterclasses, Tastings and Special Events

The Club hosts wine tastings, and special events such as the Mud Crab dinner and Truffle dinners with paired wines.

Licensed Bars

The UH, Professors’ Road Bar is open weekdays from 12:00pm until 4.30pm on Monday and Tuesday, and until late on Wednesday through Friday. An extensive variety of local and imported wines are available at member prices. Professional advice is available for all of your beverage requirements.

Reserve Cellar

In addition to the extensive wine list, a carefully cellared stock is available. Selections can be made by arrangement with the Bar Staff (24 hour notice required).

The Wine Committee

The legendary wine tasting panel consists of a team of invited members of University House who select wines from Australia and overseas for inclusion on our wine lists. University House wine lists have received numerous awards and are now included in the Australian Wine List Awards Hall of Fame.
