UH Club Choir

Do you enjoy singing?

University House members who are passionate about singing, love belting out a tune, or even just enjoy getting together to appreciate the community of singing are invited to be part of the inaugural University House Club Choir.

Under the baton of Doug Heywood OAM long-term Club Member, and Choral Director of the Channel Nine Carols by Candlelight at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl. The University Club Choir will explore a repertoire of all genres from Bach to Beatles.

The choir will rehearse from 5:00pm – 6:30pm on the first and third Thursday of each month, commencing Thursday July 3 at University House Professors’ Walk.

If you are keen to join, or just want to give it a try, please respond directly to John Macaulay gm@unihouse.org.au with the following information:

  • Can you read music? (not compulsory!)
  • Do you know what voice type you are?
  • Have you sung in choirs before? If so what part/s?
