We’ve organised many events at the Woodward at UniHouse for many years now. From small social events to full conferences, every event has been a breeze to organise and has run with no problems whatsoever. No request is too difficult to manage, catering and menu options are varied, and all dietaries are very well catered for. The Chef’s Table experience is fantastic! Great food, really interesting wine and interaction with the chef and sommelier and private room really made us feel special. On 10 October 2025, the School of Chemistry hosted a reception at University House to honour Professor Richard Robson, recipient of the 2025 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. The event celebrated his groundbreaking work on metal-organic frameworks and brought together Chemistry staff and students for an afternoon of drinks and canapés. We were delighted with the venue and the service on Friday evening. The room was a wonderful space that encourage conviviality, Cassandra managed everything superbly. Many of our members commented on the perfect size of the room and its comfortable chairs. The serving staff were helpful and professional.
